Senior Yoga Workshop

A critical component to successful aging is your ability to listen to the changing needs of your body and maintain your balance, strength and flexibility. Yoga is an excellent way to keep you feeling vibrant and healthy while expanding your social community. No experience with yoga? Not flexible or physically fit? This workshop is for YOU. We welcome students who are 55+ with any level of ability who are eager to learn how to move mindfully and incorporate relaxation techniques into your daily life. Movements may be done on a mat, sitting in a chair or standing. We encourage students to use a variety of props and modifications to find their balance between ease and effort.
Our teacher is certified to teach yoga for older adults and skilled at working with students with a variety of health concerns. Our goal is to help you modify yoga to accommodate your specific needs and goals.
