BEGINNING YOUR PRACTICE

Whether you’re stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or returning after time away, we’re so glad you’re here.

At Pressed, we believe yoga and mindful movement is for everybody and every body. Our classes are designed to meet you where you are, offering opportunities to build strength, improve mobility, reduce stress, increase flexibility, and reconnect with yourself through movement and breath.

With a variety of heated and non-heated classes, strength-based fusion formats, restorative offerings, and beginner-friendly options, there’s truly something for everyone.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS AT PRESSED

  • Check out our class schedule. No reservations required, but classes do fill up, so we do recommend to reserve your spot ahead of time.
  • Create an account and reserve your spot online through our website or app.
  • Arrive 10–15 minutes before class to get a tour of the studio, meet our Pressed staff, and get settled.
  • Bring a water bottle, yoga mat, and towel (optional), or rent or buy them from the studio.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
  • New to heated classes? Hydrate well before and after class. Acclimating to the heat does take time, so feel free to step out or take breaks any time you need.
  • Studio doors close 5 minutes after class begins. We are unable to admit late arrivals after that time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you’re unable to attend, please cancel your reservation through your account prior to class. Late cancellation and no-show policies vary by membership and package type, and do apply to new student intro offers. Visit our Policies page for full details.

CHOOSING YOUR FIRST CLASS

If you’re new to yoga, we recommend starting with:

  • Gentle Flow
  • Slow Flow
  • Hot Vinyasa 1
  • Yin
  • Restorative
  • Yinyasa

These classes provide a welcoming introduction to movement, breath, and foundational yoga postures while allowing you to move at your own pace.

Still not sure where to begin?

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT PRESSED HOT YOGA

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT PRESSED

Starting something new can feel intimidating. Whether it’s your first yoga class, your first heated class, or your first visit to Pressed, we understand that walking into an unfamiliar space takes courage.

Our goal is simple: we want you to feel welcomed, supported, and comfortable from the moment you walk through our doors.

At Pressed, you’ll find a diverse community of students of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels. Some members are stepping onto a yoga mat for the very first time, while others have practiced for years. Wherever you are in your journey, there is a place for you here.

THOUGHTFUL CLASSES & SKILLED TEACHERS

Our teachers bring a variety of backgrounds, styles, and specialties to the studio, creating opportunities to explore different approaches to movement, strength, mindfulness, and yoga. While every teacher has their own unique voice, they share a commitment to creating safe, welcoming, and empowering experiences for all students.

We encourage you to explore a variety of classes and teachers during your introductory experience. You may be surprised by what resonates most with you.

A SPACE DESIGNED FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE

We’ve created a clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed environment where you can focus on your practice and leave the outside world behind for a little while.

Need a mat or towel? We’ve got you covered. Our studio offers rental mats and towels, day-use lockers, cubbies, full shower amenities, and a retail boutique featuring carefully selected apparel, accessories, and yoga essentials.

Whether you’re arriving straight from work, heading to class with friends, or squeezing in practice between life’s responsibilities, our goal is to make showing up as easy as possible.

Most of all, we hope you’ll discover what so many others have found at Pressed—a place to move, breathe, grow, and belong.

Can I buy water at the studio?

Staying hydrated is especially important, particularly for our heated classes. We encourage members to bring a reusable water bottle (glass is not permitted in the studio), and our filtered water station is always available for complimentary refills.

Need one on the go? We also offer chilled bottled water for purchase at the front desk.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and confidently. Whether you’re joining us for yoga, barre, sculpt, conditioning, or fusion, athletic apparel is recommended.

All classes at Pressed are practiced barefoot. Upon arrival, please remove your shoes and store them in the cubbies located in our main lobby or locker room.

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

We have mats and yoga mat towels available for rental for $2 each. You can also rent the mat & towel together for $3.

Do you have showers?

Whether you’re heading to work, coming from work, or fitting class into a busy day, our studio is equipped with showers, changing areas, day-use lockers, and complimentary shower amenities. We also offer a private ADA-accessible shower and changing room available for all genders.

Do teachers offer hands-on adjustments?

Some teachers may offer optional hands-on adjustments during class to support alignment and body awareness.

If you prefer not to receive hands-on assists, simply let your teacher know before class. Your preferences will always be respected, and verbal guidance is always available.

Remember, the only expectation is that you show up as you are. Breathe, move, rest, modify, or simply listen to your body.

This practice is yours.
