Meditation is a practice of letting go of the mind. On a daily basis we try to control everything in our external surroundings, everything from what we eat, the people around us, the things we read, which road we take to work, etc. Through Meditation, we learn to stop trying to stop trying to control the mind and become more aware of our thoughts in order to slow them down. Each workshop we will use a varying styles of mediation in order to calm the mind and focus the breath.

This class consists of a beginning breath work, light movement and then progressing into guided meditation. Mediation from many traditions which may include: Mantra meditation, guided imagery, mindfulness, chanting, chakra balancing, etc.
